Meinberg ha participado en los TEST que ha realizado Laboratorio Nacional de Física (NPL) -Reino Unido- en colaboración con ICE (Intercontinental Exchange).
«The NPLTime® trusted time service of the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) provides a way for the financial industry to use a resilient, traceable and highly accurate source of time, independent from GPS, for their IT systems and networks. The performance of this service has been validated in a Proof-of-Concept trial carried out by NPL in cooperation with ICE (Intercontinental Exchange), a leading network of regulated exchanges and clearinghouses, including the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). The service provides direct traceability to UTC over fiber and is applicable for use in the finance, energy, telecoms and other sectors where resiliency and traceable timing and synchronization is important. After a careful and detailed assessment of available PTP solutions on the market, NPL selected Meinberg products to be used for this.»
